About Kevin

Kevin Reimer brings over 30 years of diverse and impactful experience in education, leadership development, and organizational coaching. His career spans multiple facets of educational leadership, including serving as a school principal, faculty advisor, and provincial advocate for educational leaders. Through these roles, Kevin has cultivated a deep understanding of the complexities of leadership and the importance of fostering positive, collaborative environments. Kevin is a lifelong beginning guitar player, Kettlebell Sport athlete and a movie buff.

  • School and System Leadership: As a former principal, Kevin successfully led schools by fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and academic excellence. His leadership emphasized community building and a student-centered approach.

  • Provincial Advocacy: During his tenure as President and Executive Director of the BC Principals’ and Vice-Principals’ Association (BCPVPA), Kevin championed the professional development and well-being of educational leaders across the province. He was pivotal in shaping policy, establishing mentoring programs, and advocating equitable educational practices.

  • Mentoring and Faculty Advising: Kevin has been a faculty advisor with the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Vancouver Island University (VIU), mentoring aspiring educators and school leaders. His guidance has helped shape the careers of countless future leaders in education.

  • Program Development: Kevin has led the creation of province-wide mentoring initiatives, collaborative structures in schools, and leadership frameworks that continue to influence educational leadership practices across British Columbia.

  • International Experience: As a BC Offshore School Representative, Kevin works with schools worldwide, helping them align with BC Ministry of Education standards and achieve certification. His global perspective enriches his ability to address diverse challenges in leadership and education.
